A Grand Monday: Peugeot 406 Coupe

Here’s a way of looking stupendously good without forking out a fortune. This 1997 Peugeot 406 Coupe is one of the first ones registered in the UK and has a full main dealer service history to back up its 92,000 miles along with an MoT valid until March next year and no real nasties in its MoT history. 

The Pininfarina-styled Pug was a huge hit when new and 22 years on it still looks like a sensational car, with sleek Ferrari-like lines and pillarless doors. 

This example is only a 2.0-litre, so it’s not the V6 that the diehard enthusiasts clamour for, but it still has a creditable 140bhp and looks stunning in metallic blue.

At £795, we reckon it’s an absolute steal.
