Will the BMW E46 become a future classic?
Do you think BMW E46 will become a future classic? If so, how long do you think prices of them will start to increase?
To put this into context, I'm thinking of purchasing a 2002 E46 320Ci with a genuine 7800 miles on the clock. It's a complete genuine car, full BMW history, all the manuals, original everything, garaged from new.
If I purchase this and keep it garaged with the occasional use in dry weather and cherish it, do you think it'll retain it's value and it'll be a classic?

Eventually, yes, because it's the coupe. Not a big money classic, but it will eventually start to retain value. An E36 318iS is a better bet: classics.honestjohn.co.uk/reviews/bmw/3-series-e36...y
