What's the best trim and engine for a Rover 75?

What in your opinion is the best trim and engine for a Rover 75 if I wanted to keep it as a classic?

Connoisseur trim. Manual. 2.0CDI or CDTi engine. Wedgwood blue. Cream leather. Original look, not the tacky 2004 facelift.
