A classic car for a 17-year old
My 17-year-old grandson is contemplating buying a Triumph Herald. what would you advise? Wwhat are the pitfalls? What should he expect to pay for a good example

Heralds had a separate chassis but were notorious for rust. That is the main pitfall. Go over the whole thing with a bradawl and a magnet looking for any suspect bits. the 1.3 litre 13/60 had the best engine. Obviously convertibles are the most valuable. Vans the rarest.
