Many years ago I purchased two jerry cans and filled them with diesel - is the fuel still okay to use?
During the last fuel scare many years ago I purchased two jerry cans and filled them with diesel. The cans have not been opened. Is the diesel in them okay to use? If not how do I dispose of it?

While military grade diesel used to last for a long time, modern brews used in high-pressure diesel engines only tend to last for six months to a year before degrading. As for disposal, you'll need to contact your local recycling centre - not all sites can accept it but they may know of the nearest one.
