Does my 47-year-old Land Rover need an MoT?
I have owned my Land Rover Series.2A 88 for 47 years and have made no changes except to replace batteries and exhausts. It is used on a daily basis. Under the new MOT 40 year rules do I still need an MOT?

In a nutshell, the answer is no - if your vehicle was built 40 years ago and hasn't been substantially changed, you don't need an MoT.
